October 2009 brought not only a new addition to our
garden projects but also a new group of faces. This was
GPIP's first group of all Glastonbury teen volunteers who
worked along side Jarrod Sansoucy, designer of the garden,
Bob Shipman and Chris Gullotta. Together with the teens and
the Town Parks department who prepared the garden, we
transformed the existing over grown garden of burning bush
and juniper to a new low maintenance but colorful garden for
all the visitors of Addison Park to enjoy for many years to
come. We greatly appreciate all of the volunteer help to
make this new garden come to life. |
